Our History

While working for a firm as a Controller in downtown Chicago, Jessica decided to start a small tax business. It began mostly with preparing tax returns for friends and colleagues and has grown exponentially from there.

Originally located in the South Loop of Chicago, Reed Accounting worked closely with individuals in that area and throughout Chicago on their tax returns. Reed Accounting has now been located in Evanston since 2012 but still continues to serve clients throughout the entire Chicago area.

While Reed Accounting originally started by focusing primarily on individual tax returns, they now serve many clients with a wide range of tax situations, with their main focus on small businesses and sole proprietors.
